1. Player

The person who performs the physical action of a sport. This person is usually responsible for moving his or her team to victory. This is the person who has the most power in a sport. These are the guys that are at the top of the food chain. These are the superstars. The player is the face of the team.

2. Coach

The person who puts players together and helps them perform at their very best. A coach is responsible for helping the players execute well. He is the one who lays out the game plan and then makes sure that everything goes accordingly. This is the guy who usually wears the headset and gives instructions to the player.

3. Manager

This person is the one who sets all the financial policies for the team. He or she can be the head of the HR department, or even the owner. He or she is the one who has all of the decisions that are made regarding the team. He or she is usually the one that is in charge of all the finances. This is the guy who makes sure the team makes money and keeps track of how much is being spent. 4. Player Agent

This person is the one who looks out for the best interest of the players. He or she is the one who looks after the players to make sure that they are being well taken care of in terms of salary, marketing, and anything else related to the player. The player agent is responsible for keeping the player happy. He or she is the one who mediates any problems that might arise.

5. Owner

If the guy at the top of the food chain is the coach, then the guy at the bottom is the owner. This is the person who finances everything. He or she is the one who dictates what happens in the team. He or she is the one who makes all the important decisions regarding the team and what happens to it. This is the one who signs the checks. This is the guy who has all of the say.

6. Committee

This person is the one who oversees all of the committees that are in place to make sure that all of the finances are in order. He or she is the one that signs off on all contracts. He or she is the one who has the final say when it comes to how the finances are managed. This is the guy or girl who gets the final say. This is the guy or girl who makes the ultimate decisions.
